Our Mission
Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) promotes the health and well being of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered persons, their families and friends through:
-
ADVOCACY, to end discrimination and secure equal civil rights on local, state and national levels
EDUCATION of families and communities on sexual orientation, gender identity and LGBT issues.
SUPPORT to help LGBT people, their families and friends by providing groups, helplines and other resources.
Our local chapter is focused on educating communities in Clark and Champaign counties through a variety of projects, while PFLAG National continues to provide fair and accurate information about LGBT people, their loved ones, and the unique challenges they face.
